YDF Camp Promotes Better Type 1 Diabetes Care
At Yog Dhyan Foundation (YDF), every camp provides an opportunity to support children living with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) through regular health monitoring, education and care.
The camp included HbA1c testing, health record updates, growth and weight monitoring, diabetes education and an interactive MCQ quiz conducted by Ms. Bhumika. Children also participated in yoga sessions, celebrated birthdays, enjoyed a nutritious lunch and received essential diabetes supplies.
A special session by Dr. Anil Vedwal highlighted the importance of maintaining and understanding annual health records to support better diabetes management and long-term health monitoring.
Through these regular initiatives, YDF continues its commitment to helping children and their families gain better knowledge, confidence and support in managing Type 1 Diabetes.
