YDF HbA1c Camp – August 2026
Yog Dhyan Foundation (YDF) organised its HbA1c Camp in August 2026 to support children living with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D), bringing together health monitoring, nutrition education, awareness, yoga, and community care.
The camp included HbA1c testing to help monitor long-term blood sugar levels and support effective diabetes management. Ms. Himani conducted an engaging session on Smart Nutrition, guiding children and parents towards healthier food choices. Mr. Anil Vedwal, Chief Functionary of YDF, delivered an informative session on “Stem Cell Therapy for T1D: Myth or Fact?”, helping families understand current developments and distinguish facts from misconceptions.
An interactive session by Ms. Chhavi, “Every Healthy Bite Counts,” highlighted the importance of balanced nutrition and healthy eating habits. Yoga activities further encouraged physical fitness, mindfulness, and emotional well-being.
The camp also included a special celebration for the August-born T1D children, featuring a joyful cake-cutting ceremony and a heartwarming dance performance by one of the birthday children. A healthy and nutritious lunch was served to all participants, followed by the distribution of essential diabetes care supplies.
The camp concluded on a positive note, reinforcing YDF’s commitment to empowering children and families with knowledge, confidence, better health, and a strong support system.
