YDF Hosts 3rd Quarter HbA1c Health Camp with Creative Art Workshop
Yog Dhyan Foundation (YDF) organized its 3rd Quarter HbA1c Health Camp, bringing together more than 100 children with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) for a day of health monitoring, education, and creativity.
Each child received HbA1c screening to assess long-term blood glucose control, along with free monthly diabetes care supplies. The camp also featured "Brush of Hope," a creative art workshop led by Mrs. Kokilaa Kapur and Ms. Kavya Kapur, where children explored block printing, fluid art, and glass art, encouraging creativity and self-expression.
A special highlight was the sharing of "The Magic of Insulin" by Ms. Kavya Kapur, who inspired children and families by sharing her personal journey with Type 1 Diabetes. The event concluded with healthy refreshments, reinforcing YDF's commitment to providing holistic care, education, and emotional support to children living with T1D.
