Sunday Camp at YDF Centre: Empowering Children with Type 1 Diabetes
YDF Centre organised an educational Sunday Camp focused on Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) management, providing children and families with practical guidance on insulin devices, hyperglycemia prevention, regular health monitoring, and managing associated conditions.
Sessions led by Himani, Amrita Rupani, Sayma, Chhavi, and Anil Vedwal included expert guidance and an interactive Q&A session with prizes for participants.
The camp concluded with blood glucose checks, guided insulin administration, a community lunch, and the distribution of free diabetes supplies, empowering participants to manage T1D with greater confidence.
